Hello and welcome!

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This blog is all about my passion for travelling, backpacking, and embracing the freedom that comes with exploring the world with just a rucksack and a bit of curiosity.

My love for travel really kicked off in September 2019, when I went on my first solo trip to Thailand, spending three unforgettable weeks doing Camp Thailand. It completely opened my eyes to the excitement of meeting new people, stepping out of my comfort zone, and soaking up different cultures.

Fast forward to September 2023, and I took the plunge again — this time flying to Australia on a one-way ticket for an 8-month adventure on a Working Holiday Visa. Sadly, I had to cut the trip short due to a family emergency back home after a bereavement. It was a tough call, but one I’ll never regret making.

Now, I’m planning my return — heading back to Australia in September 2025 to travel the East Coast and make the most of my Working Holiday Visa once again. From beach town hopping to road trips, hostel living, and everything in between, I can’t wait to dive back in and keep chasing those backpacker moments that make this lifestyle so addictive.

Here on the blog, I’ll be sharing budget travel tips, destination guides, personal stories, and honest takes on the highs and lows of life on the road. Whether you’re prepping for your own big trip or just daydreaming about far-off places, I hope you find something here that inspires you to get out there and explore.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of visiting 11 incredible countries, including the bustling streets of New York, the picturesque landscapes of France, the vibrant culture of Thailand, and the sun-soaked beaches of Tenerife. My solo travels have taken me across the globe, from the mesmerizing temples of Thailand to the sprawling outback of Australia, with stops in breathtaking destinations like Singapore and charming canals in Amsterdam.

Travel for me isn’t just about ticking destinations off a list—it’s about immersing myself in different cultures, tasting exotic cuisines, meeting fascinating people, and embracing the unexpected. Each trip has shaped me, teaching me resilience, independence, and the beauty of stepping out of my comfort zone.

But my adventures don’t just end at experiencing these places—I’m also passionate about sharing them with you!
